Gallaudet University - is the premier institution of learning, teaching and research for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The only institute in the whole world that is of the Deaf and for the Deaf.

National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) – A branch off the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York. Their mission is to provide deaf and hard-of-hearing students with outstanding state-of-the-art technical and professional education programs.

Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) – A non-profit organization who's goal is to uphold standards, ethics, and professionalism for American Sign Language Interpreters.

National Association of Interpreters in Education (NAIE) - is an organization of interpreters who provide services to support the communication needs of students in educational settings.

Hands & Voices – an organization that is devoted to supporting it's community of families with deaf children. Their goal is to serve families and deaf children through assisting them in discovering what the best communication plan is for the deaf child and family, as well as fight for their rights.
